Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton ‘makes key decision on Liverpool transfer’ with Tottenham also interested in move

Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton has reportedly made an important decision with regard to a possible relocation to Liverpool.

The midfielder is strongly connected to a switch to Anfield, while Tottenham is also interested in signing him.

Palace does not want to lose Wharton this summer, especially in view of the fact that Marc Guehi and Ebereechi could leave before closing the transfer window.

As reported by the sun, Wharton is willing to stay in Palace this season, which would mean that Liverpool would be the favorites to sign him.

Wharton came to Palace of Blackburn in February 2024, who would be entitled to 15 percent of the reimbursement from his next move.

Since the signing for Palace, Wharton has made 43 performances, although he missed a considerable part of last season due to the groin operation.

The 21-year-old is known for its excellent passing and technical skills.

Wharton made his senior English debut against Bosnia and Herzegovina in June 2024 and was then appointed in the Euro 2024 team of Three Lions. However, he did not come to the tournament.

Liverpool is very active this summer on the transfer market and secured deals for Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez.

The Reds would be willing to wait until next year if this means that they can close a deal for Wharton.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have also followed Wharton's progress.

His struggles with injury last season, however, mean that they have not pursued a movement for him.
