
The feud of Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira have continued to spark, with the Spaniard flaming one of 'Do Bronx' former versions.
In anticipation of the permanent switch from Ilia Topuria to the lightweight division, after surprisingly leaving its featherweight title, he started laying the foundation for various potential battles in the weight class.
The 28-year-old is hopeful that he will get an immediate title shot against the current champion, Islam Makhachev, but the Russian champion does not love the idea of fighting Topuria.
With the expectation around his movement until 155 pounds, Topuria revealed his new identity prior to the next phase of his career and he changed his 'El Matador' -Bine name into 'La Layenda'.

Ilia Topuria Flames Charles Oliveira's loss against Cub Swanson while their feud continues
Because it is not certain whether the 28-year-old will fight for the next title, he and former UFC Lightweight Champion Charles Oliveira have been involved in a somewhat online fight, in which both fighters trade hooks via social media.
Oliveira has made it clear that he is not interested in a potential fight against Topuria, which led to Topuria who claims that Oliveira is 'afraid' to fight him.
And with that the Brazilian has accused 'La Layenda' of being disrespectful, which led to Topuria responding.
“I did not disappear (Charles), I told the truth. He has 10 losses,” said Topuria during a press conference after WOW 17 in Madrid last weekend.
Before 'Do Bronx' career -rehearsal, his UFC career once doubted, because he was labeled an 'enforcement' for various disappointing losses.
“He says (lightweight) is the heaviest division there is. When he fought at 145 pounds, Cub Swanson beat him up,” Topuria continued.
Oliveira and Swanson fought in 2012 on UFC 152 and Swanson scored a first round knockout about the Brazilian grappler.

Topuria claims that the UFC promised him a title shot before he left a 145 -pound belt
Although there are questions about which direction the promotion will go for the first fight of Topuria since he went up, the 28-year-old claimed that the UFC made him a promise.
The reason for Topuria to leave the featherweight title was largely due to the weight reduction and no longer going through it; However, his vacation came as a surprise.
Nevertheless, the Spaniard claimed that the main reason he decided to leave his title because the UFC promised him that he would get a title shot in his first fight.
“I am not entirely sure what my next fight will be; the only thing I know is that the word of the UFC is that my next fight for the world title will be … That was the promise to leave my title empty, they have always complied with their promises.”
