From March 2025, more than 900 hunters have been signed at the UFC schedule: even for the most astute among us it is a tough task that stays up -to -to -date with each of those athletes.
UFC 313: Pereira vs Ankalaev is a solid PPV event, with countless top candidates and well-known names participating in Las Vegas on 8 March.
That said, one of the more surprising fighting on the map is Curtis 'Razor' Blaydes versus UFC -newcomer Rizvan Kuniev – with the popular American wrestler who now admitted that he had no idea who he was dating to fight.

Curtis Blaydes admits that he has to google his UFC 313 opponent '
Curtis Blaydes spoke with Mmafighting asked about his upcoming matchup against Rizvan Kuniev; A hunter who was not much aware of the UFC-Sphere before their fight was announced, including the American.
“I had to google him – I watched his fight with the competition [Series]That is really the only battle of him I have looked at, “Blaydes stated, and added that Kuniev 'looks like your traditional heavyweight [who] Fluctuations heavy and hopes to stand out early.

Although the hard-handy Kuniev may not be an understanding, Blaydes is rightly aware that he cannot overlook anyone who is good enough to be signed with the UFC-Roster.
“He is here for a reason, [so] He must have a kind of skill. I am not going to approach him with the respect he deserves. He is here, he is in the UFC, [and] They do not bring unskilled heavyweights.
“I approach it as if he has the opportunity to beat me what he does. This is heavyweight, only one sloppy hay maker is needed and light out. “

Apart from his two major KO victories in the Contender Series of Dana White, Rizvan Kuniev is perhaps the most famous for his notorious PED-SCHENING that had kept him offside for more than a year.
In May 2023, the UD victory of Kuniev on Renan Ferreira was destroyed to a no-match after he jumped for Drostanolone, Metenelone, Boldenone and 19-Norandrostoneon; who are all anabolic steroids.
In his googling, Blaydes also heard about that, where the American wrestler teases that PEDs makes no difference when he steps into the octagon on Saturday evening.
“Who knows, this may be part of this. Maybe he should take it out of his system, but I heard about such rumors [Jailton] Almeida and I mean, he is very strong, and he did have skills, but steroids will not be the difference.
“It will not be enough … Even if he has some things, I don't believe it will help him with his vast or help him take a blow. I am good with it even if he has things. “
Curtis Blaydes vs Rizvan Kuniev is currently invoiced as the last provisional card fight of UFC 313-Vang De Action Live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday 8 March.
