‘Cut him’… Fans blast UFC 319 star for missing weight despite moving up a division to fight 6ft 5in beast

Only one hunter missed the stamp during the UFC 319 ways on Friday morning.

Khamzat Chimaev stripped naked before he came 2 pounds under the limit of 185 pounds.

Dricus Du Plessis completed a body transformation of 45 pounds and made it easy when he weighed for the latest defense of his title.

However, a newcomer in the middleweight division was 4 pounds overweight when he hit the scales 24 hours before UFC 319.

Bryan Battle misses again

Bryan Battle will return to the middleweight against Nursulton Ruziboev on Saturday evening.

The 6FT 5 in Russian had no problem making the limit of 186 pounds after previously competing in Welterweight.

Battle's move to the division, which is taken over by Dricus Du Plessis, was inspired by his inability to make 171LBS consistently.

What looked like a problem with the size was supposed to have been eradicated by his jump to a new weight class with which he can weigh 15 pounds heavier for his UFC fights.

Nevertheless, Battle succeeded in missing weight with 4 pounds, despite stripping down when he hit the scales for UFC 319.

Some UFC fans believe that the battle should be seriously punished for missing weight for a second fight in a row.

“Cut him honestly,” said a fan. While another added: “A bit off – ing idiot.”

“Leave this wanderer off. Talk too much and can't make weight for S -” said a third X user.

“Cancel and cut,” demanded someone else.

“Wow. Not even close. Totally unacceptable as a professional,” another person tweeted.

“A really bad look, UFC career is online,” wrote a sixth fan.
