Erin Cuthbert has signed a new deal with Chelsea and held it to the blues until the summer of 2027.
The Scotland International has extended its stay with the ruling Super League champions for women, with whom she joined Glasgow City in 2017.
Cuthbert is the second Chelsea player who is on paper on paper this month, after Schipper Mille Bright, who signed a new contract until 2026.
The 26-year-old has played more than 250 times for the blues, with whom she has won 12 major awards, including seven Super League titles for women.
“It is eight years ago, but the feeling of playing for this club never leaves,” said Cuthbert's official website.
“If you had told the girl that eight years ago came to Chelsea that she would still be here, I would not have believed you. I fell in love with a club and they have fallen in love with me. That is special.”
“Erin is one of the leaders in the team and now in her Prime,” added Chelsea's head women's football, Paul Green.
“We have seen her develop into one of the best central midfielders in the world and look forward to seeing her to continue to progress in the coming years.”
