Liverpool Vooruit Diogo Jota died after a car accident in Spain, the Portuguese media reported.
Jota reportedly traveled in a car with his brother Andre, who is also a 26-year-old football player when the vehicle left the road.
The incident took place on the A-52 in the province of Zamora.
The tragic news comes only two weeks after Jota married his long -term girlfriend Rute Cardoso in Porto.
