Dan Hooker sustained several injuries, even though he came to Jalin Turner at the top

At the International Fight Week card of 2023, Hooker then looked forward to his much-needed victory over Claudio Puelles when he was confronted with one of the most dangerous strikers of the division.

Jalin Turner had stopped his five-field win racing by Mateusz Gamrot earlier in 2023, but now looked back to bounce back and during the first round he looked on course to do that.

The excellent timing and the reach of Turner earned him a 10-9 in the opening round, but things changed as soon as Hooker started to make a fight.

Somehow 'The Hangman' was able to withstand some significant damage in the second, including a main kick that landed completely clean and would have delivered most men.

Hooker continued to push and eventually found his breakthrough towards the end of the second he continued in the third by ruthlessly putting pressure on a tiring 'Tarantula'.

Towards the end of the fight, the hair of the New Zealander was equal parts blonde and karmozer red.

Although a judge scored the third round in favor of Turner, Hooker got his hand lifted through a split decision and detailed the injuries he had sustained after the fight.

Hooker broke his arm in the fight and told the Oscar Willis of Themaclife that he thought it was Turner who kicked his forearm, but he wasn't sure when it happened.

“I didn't really go back and looked at the fight. I don't know at what point I want to say the second. I want to say that it started to be numb in the second round, I want to say that, but I still threw it clear. It's like, what are you going to do? It is still broken. You want to be a broken arm and a loser or? “

Hooker also suffered a broken orbital and he blamed for this injury and the main kick he ate on his arm that did not respond correctly after it was broken.

“I think when he kicked me in the head, so I want to attribute that to be kicked in the head. I want to say in the second, it's because my arm was broken. ”

After they have come through the fight with a few battle scars, they were not very worried about 'The Hangman' that is no stranger to be made by the reparation after they step into the octhoek.

“They have done a CT scan, it is like an orbital fracture, but they are actually, when they say orbital fracture, it sounds really serious, but they are actually quite common. Most boys don't get CT scans, but the Most boys will have small orbital fractures after fighting, so I am not too dramatic about that.
