Dana White calls UFC White House event ‘the Sphere on steroids’ in huge tease for unprecedented fight card

UFC CEO Dana White is all-in for hosting an event in the White House.

The UFC is less than a year away from its historic UFC 306 card on the Las Vegas Sphere, and UFC CEO Dana White has a one-off event in the making.

US President Donald Trump won MMA headlines earlier this month when he announced that the UFC is working to organize an event in the White House next year. The map will occur in the celebrations of the 250 -year anniversary of the independence of the United States.

Since the eye opening of Trump, many top names, including Conor McGregor and Jon Jones, have plagued comeback fights on the White House map.

Dana White wants to make UFC White House bigger than Bolkaart

A little less than a year until the planned event of the UFC in the White House, plans are still drawn up for building a fighting evening at the historic lawn. The event will probably not contain fans present due to security problems, and the crowd could mainly contain family members of the competing athletes.

Although the UFC wanders from a comprehensive fan experience in the White House, White is planning to make it bigger than when he organized UFC 306 in the Las Vegas-Bol.

During a recent performance on the Pat McAfee show, White explained his elevated goals for the intended map of the UFC in the White House.

“It is clear that everyone wants to fight on that card,” said White.

“And that is a good thing – because we are going to set up the best card we have ever done for that event of the White House. Just think of what I'm going to do for this fight, and then think of what [President] Trump is going to do for this fight.

“It is one of one experience. Like when we did the atmosphere, it is the atmosphere on steroids! It will be one of one events, and nothing like it ever.”

White has also repeatedly plagued the idea that Legends McGregor and Jones return to the Octagon for the event. But McGregor threw gasoline on the fire when he gave White and the UFC Brass a bizarre ultimatum.

Conor McGregor has issued a bizarre ultimatum to UFC for potential comeback from the White House

McGregor recently said that he would only return to the UFC Octagon as his teammate, Prospect Lee Hammond, was signed with the promotion. Hammond played during the season at the Ultimate Fighter 31 in McGregor's team.

McGregor has not fought in the Octagon since he injured his leg against Dustin Poirier on UFC 264. Poirier will retire after his fight with BMF title holder Max Holloway this weekend on UFC 318.

For years, McGregor has repeatedly plagued a UFC Comback, arising from his time that coaches on the ultimate hunter compared to Michael Chandler. A fight between McGregor and Chandler is perhaps logical for both parties in the White House.
