A 2-5 run in the most important promotion of MMA is usually enough to cut a hunter out of the grid.
Axing Michael Chandler, however, was the furthest in the spirit of Dana White na UFC 314.
In fact, the UFC boss has praised the light competition by comparing him with a boxing legend.
“I mean, he is always in the fight,” said White at his UFC 314 Post-Fight Press Conference.
“Tonight was a big night for Paddy Pimblett. As if we just had it, people doubted Paddy Pimblett on every fight he is fighting, and he is undefeated in the UFC.
“Chander is like our Arturo Gatti, man. Every time that guy goes in, you know you have a good fight, you know it will be a war, and you don't know if he's going to win or lose.”

Although the UFC-Tukomst of Chandler is unclear, Pimblett then appears to be destined for a top five fight.
'The Baddy' used his interview after the fight to call former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira.
“I respect Dustin [Poirier]Justin [Gaethje]And Charles, “Pimblett told Joe Rogan.
“Charles is the biggest legend of all, and he becomes the best submission artist who has ever seen the UFCs.
“Well, I dispute that. I am here! So I versus Charles.”
