The UFC continues to show exactly why it is the best promotion in MMA after a hugely successful UFC 314 event in Miami on Saturday.
On Saturday the UFC returned to Miami for UFC 314, who was a stacked fight card from top to bottom, headed by a featherweight title between Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes.
The Co-Main event also put two of the biggest stars of promotion together, in Paddy Pimblett vs Michael Chandler, while Pimblett achieved the biggest victory of his career.
Outside the top two fights, the Vechtkaart also contained some high -quality fights, which showed why the UFC is the most important MMA promotion.

White delivered due to lack of MMA competence after UFC 314
UFC boss, Dana White, responded to the biggest points of the event during the press conference after the fight, but also expressed his concern about the lack of competition at the UFC.
The presence for UFC 314 of the Kaseya Center in Miami was more than 18,000, which had a gate of $ 11.5 million and the UFC now has the number one, two and three places for the highest gate record all time in the Kaseya Center.
This event came only a few days after a new rival promotion, GFL canceled their two debut events planned for May due to a lack of financing.
Bellator and the PFL apparently have been the number two promotion in the sport, but fans have become tired of their product in recent years.
Although that may seem extremely good news for the UFC, White believes that the competition is very needed for the landscape of the sport to flourish.
“Yes (it is worrying), I don't know enough about the GFL to really talk about it, but yes, it is a lot harder than it seems, it is a lot harder than it seems,” White said at the press conference after the fight.
“(I don't pay attention to it), that's why I don't know much about it, literally none. Of course, where these boys can earn money, either on the way up or on the way down, it's great, but I no longer pay attention to things like that,” White went on.
The UFC can undergo a huge change on Tuesday
The timing of UFC 314 and it is such a spectacular event demonstrably not being able to come at a better time, because their temporary employment contract with ESPN will end next Tuesday.
Their deal with the broadcast giant started in 2018 and according to White it started a pretty rocky relationship.
Nevertheless, they apparently threw all the problems from the start of their relationship. However, fans recently submitted various complaints with regard to UFC PPV events and claim that they have had to deal with various problems trying to buy the events.
And with that in mind, with their deal that ends on Tuesday, the UFC could undergo a huge change and a new temporary partner could be announced.
