Many fans quickly thought of a rear -up matchup that the lock 'TBD vs TBD' could fill after an unfortunate cancellation.
Aaron Pico called to Movsar Evloev on this map and said that he “understands that there is an opening” for them to be reversed after the Russian withdrew from their original date on July 26.
With the fight that originally takes place in five rounds in which would probably decide the next challenger for the title of Alexander Volkanovski, Pico versus Evloev would add some commitment to UFC 319.
During his press conference after the fight, Dana White was asked if this matchup could be the CO-Main event, which stated that he did not have this information at the moment.

Fans pitch alternative options for the vacant UFC 319 Co-Main event
The Vacant Co-Main event place for UFC 319 fans immediately talked on social media and although many referred to the potential for Aaron Pico and Movsar Evloev to be planned again, some had other ideas.
Various lightweight and welterweight matchups were set up, including Paddy Pimblett opposite Justin Gaethje, who was previously rumors before August 16 before both men closed it.
Ian Machado Garry also received various voices with fans who called different opponents for him, such as Belal Muhammad of Sean Brady.
With UFC 319 less than a month removed, it would not be surprising if this place on the map would be filled in in the coming days.
