If someone was aware of the UFC release of Conor McGregor, it would be Dana White.
It is 2025 and Superstar Conor McGregor is still missing in the Octagon.
The former two -division champion has not fought anymore since he broke his leg against Dustin Poirier four years ago at UFC 264 and has since withdrawn from a booking against Michael Chandler last summer.
McGregor recently spoke after news about the UFC's temporary employment contract with Paramount and said 'Long Live the Irish King'.
This week fans feared the worst for McGregor's potential return after UFC Roster Tracker reported that McGregor had been removed from the active schedule that in other cases it would suggest that a hunter was no longer in the promotion or was retired.
It wasn't long before the UFC boss saw the news floating around.

Dana White denies reports that Conor McGregor is not in UFC
Despite their name, UFC Roster Tracker is not really associated with the UFC, but follows the schedule of the promotion of UFC.com.
On Thursday, UFC CEO Dana White quickly pointed out that the name of McGregor was not removed from the selection.
“Total B ——-,” White wrote under a report on Instagram (via Happy Punch).
Confirmed to be signed at the UFC, McGregor has two more fights on his current contract.
Conor McGregor's last victory came more than 5 years ago
As soon as the UFC featherweight and lightweight champion of the world, McGregor has not solved the world since the COVID-19 Pandemie.
The newest victory from McGregor was a 40 seconds TKO from UFC Hall of Famer Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone on UFC 246 in 2020.
With the performance, McGregor became the second hunter in the history of UFC to score knockouts on three weight classes.
However, it is worth noting that Cerrone never won a fight afterwards and withdrew from MMA on a Zeven-Vecht Windless Skid in 2023.
McGregor, 37, is 1-3 in his last four fights, with back-to-back losses for Dustin Poirier.
