Dana White has always been a big fan of Championship Boxer Terence Crawford and now he finally has the chance to promote him.
On September 13, one of the biggest boxing fights in the recent memory will take place between Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez when the two collide for the undisputed super middleweight title.
One of the biggest points for the fight is the fact that UFC boss Dana White will be the most important promoter of the fight with the inaugural event of TKO Boxing.
White has already shared the stage with Crawford and Canelo, because he had to intervene and split a near-Brawl when the two collided with the pre-combat conference earlier this year.

Dana White spoke about promoting Crawford six years before the involvement of superfights
Although this will be the first big step of White in boxing, he had a small involvement before this event, because he helped to promote the Irish boxer Callum Walsh during his career and even created an event for him in Ireland last year.
The UFC -Mogul has always been open with the fact that boxing was his first true love for MMA when he grew up as an aspiring boxer himself.
More than six years ago at UFC 241 with the head of Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic, none other than Crawford was watching the spectacular action in the front row, in which the UFC card was picked about a boxing event that was at the same time in Vegas.
And after the event, White spoke about Crawford who was present and went to talk about how he would promote him if he was one of his hunters.
“Yes, that was interesting (to see Crawford present). We were happy to have him and he is a stud and he chose the right card to come,” White told Helen Yee at the time.
“I didn't get (the chance to talk to him), no, it was a bit crazy that evening, but I saw that he was there and he fought around and took photos with everyone and we showed him on TV, so I am glad he came out and I hope he had fun.
“(I would promote him) Just as we promote all these guys here. First of all, there is no brand in boxing, I always talk about the machine, the UFC machine that we have built here and when we boys who are talented in the machine, you start building and there is nothing in boxing, that is what I want to build,” then white.

And now six years after White's comments about one of the best best fighters on the planet, Crawford is officially part of the 'machine' of Dana White and it is still too considered how the UFC boss will use his expertise to promote this mega event.
Because this is the first official event of White under the TKO Boxing Banner, it is unclear where he will take the promotion from here and how often he will look to set up boxing events.
