Dana White rules out podcast with Joe Rogan and Conor McGregor in awkward UFC 318 press conference moment

The Dana White press conference took a funny turn after UFC 318 on Saturday evening.

The CEO mainly spoke about BMF title holder Max Holloway, who defeated Dustin Poirier, who retired after losing a crowd of birth city in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Dana White also closed Jon Jones and fought in the White House after his MMA pension U-turn.

The 55-year-old questions from the media for 18 minutes, and only one of them really surprised him.

While the press conference was over, a reporter attracted the attention of UFC 318.

He asked, “How big is the possibility that we will see a podcast on Joe Rogan? You, Joe Rogan and Conor McGregor?”

A right with a straight face paused just before he delivered a definitive response of two words.

“Probably never,” said the UFC boss to earn a choir of laughter from those in the room.

White even chuckled herself when he repeated that the stars would probably never happen.

Dana White teases Ilia Topuria vs. Max Holloway 2

White dropped a hint over the next fight from Holloway after he had issued a callout on UFC 318.

'Blessed' called for a rematch with Ilia Topuria, who won their featherweight title fight by Knockout in October 2024.

Since then, Topuria Charles Oliveira Ko'd has to become the lightweight champion and possibly to set up a second meeting with Holloway, who has committed his future with the 155 pound division.

One media member asked if Holloway has done enough to earn a Rematch with Topuria by beating Poirier.

“I think he is in a great position now,” White replied.

“He just defended that BMF title. He has arranged number four in the world [at lightweight].

“Everything is now possible for Max.”
