Torrez Finney has spoken after his matte victory over UFC Vegas 105.
The newly beaten UFC mid-weight returned to the UFC Apex on Saturday, where Dana White had to fight 3 times on the competition series.
Despite back-to-back victories in the show, Finney was twice a contract of the UFC boss, Dana White once said that he would be 'decimated' in the UFC.
That was of course before he eventually signed the 10-0 Finney with a third victory in October.
Finney turned out to be white in the weekend and dominated opponent Robert Valentin with his wrestling. Finney scored 8 Takedowns from no fewer than 17 attempts and picked up 13 minutes of control time, so that his hand was canceled by a split decision on UFC Vegas 105.

Torrez Finney recalls Dana White Quote after he made fans up
The fight that lasted 15 minutes left the performance of Finney many fans, including himself, dissatisfied.
Finney threw a total of 4 important strikes and was heard from the Achthoek.
Criticism of his 'boring' fighting style does not seem to bother Finney after the fight, who has heard just about all of this before fighting the series of the competition.
“I'm not going to lie to you. I can only read to laugh,” Finney said about online recoil at the press conference after the fight.
“Such things don't really get me mentally.
“I mean, look, I had Dana, you know, said I would be decimated,” said Finney.
“So I come here to win. I don't lean too much on my side of that explanation after this performance, but I will certainly get better.”
Torrez Finney not proud of matte performance
A 'Dud' version in his eyes, Finney says that there were so many things that he did not benefit from in the fight.
Finney has already fought at the UFC Apex three times and admitted that he had had Octagon tickles his first time as a full-fledged UFC hunter.
“I don't know what it was stopping me in Mental Blok, trust,” asked Finney.
“But man, there was so much to be desired for myself.
“I would say it is a strange performance. That was a guy in my honest opinion. It happens. This is the best I felt to go a fight … Heck, I felt much worse than this went in a fight, and I had incredible performances.
“So sometimes it's just the night,” Finney added.
