Dana White is on board with the range of Conor McGregor to return to the Octagon at the White House Lawn next year.
The UFC boss tends to remain silent with a potential comeback for McGregor, who has not fought for more than four years. He would return to Michael Chandler on UFC 303 last summer, but was forced with a broken toe.
Now the Irishman seems to be part of the planned UFC event that will take place at the White House Gazon for the 250th anniversary of the Nation next year. Donald Trump announced the groundbreaking event last night, with plans for a huge showcase of the world championship.

After President Trump's announcement, a number of high -profile hunters thrown their hat in the ring to get to the massive map. And no name has a higher profile than Conor McGregor, which immediately expressed his intentions to compete.
“Happy July 4, USA,” he wrote on X before he shared a photo he took with the president this year. “Excited with President Trump who announces a UFC fighting event in the White House. I would be honored! Add me!”
McGregor then shared a screenshot of a private DM conversation with UFC boss Dana White. He seems to have sent two speech notes, to which the executive just answered “I love it” in all capital letters.

McGregor's efforts to get involved shows how great this event is expected to be for the UFC. It will be one of their first major events for their new broadcastseal, and is again a huge step forward for MMA's involvement in the regular sport.
“We're going to have a UFC fight,” Trump said on Thursday during a meeting at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. “Think about this on the site of the White House. We have a lot of land there. We are going to build a bit, they are not, Dana is going to do it … Dana is great.
“One of his kind. We are going a UFC fight, championship fight, full fight, such as 25,000 people. We are going to do that as part of 250. We are going to have a number of incredible events, some professional events, some amateur events, but the UFC fights become a large deal.”
