In his place, old commentator Jon Anik came in to organize the event in Newark, New Jersey.
It was somewhat heated when Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O'Malleyhook bargain before their Bantamweight title Rematch on Saturday evening.
However, it became the most interesting when the petition to strip Jon Jones from his UFC heavyweight belt was raised.

The UFC 316 press conference -Mixte sang 'Strip Jon Jones' at the same time.
This is something that Jon Anik does not quickly have the power or wish to do.
“I think a fight between Jones and Tom Aspinall is bigger if they are both champions,” he said.
“I think … I hope they will fight in Las Vegas in December.
“I don't have information inside, but I don't know if Jon Jones gives a rip when they strip it.”
