Dani Alves's wife has announced that she is pregnant – three days after the football player had destroyed his rape conviction on appeal.
Joana Sanz, 32, unveiled on Instagram – where she has 928,000 followers – that they are ready to welcome a baby girl to the world.
But in the message, the Spaniard bravely fought against the tears while she revealed that she had previously suffered three miscarriages.
She said: “I didn't want to say anything until it was more than clear, but I wanted to share it for those who are in battle themselves.
“I have had to deal with questions such as:” When does the baby owe? ” Since I was twenty -two years old … some scary social pressure.
“I have never had a mother instinct, that desire to have children or that I would like to wear someone's baby.
“Over the years my group of friends were babies and social media was filled with births (I think age is what is important).
“There is so much ignorance about the reproductive age of a woman and it is not so easy to get pregnant.
“Five years ago I thought to be a mother with great fear, afraid because a person depends on me to survive, afraid not to work, afraid of losing myself as a woman … but this is a different story.
“What I came to tell you is that a healthy twenty -seven -year -old woman had two IVFs, three losses and the newest added a salpingectomy at the beginning of endometriosis.”
The model continued: “The frustration and why 'everyone' becomes pregnant as magic, has plagued me.
“I am used to achieving what I focus on my thoughts with hard work, effort and perseverance, but this is not the case.
“I lost my mother two years ago, I didn't have parents or brothers and sisters, the feeling of orphanage and emptiness followed me until the day I first heard the heart of my baby.
“My last frozen embryo, my last hope for that reason to be strong in life. Here she is healthy and grows.
“And I know it was my mother who sent her to me so that I will never feel alone again.
“So that I can let her live and this rainbow full of love can have after so many storms.
“I still can't believe it and I wake up in the morning for fear of seeing the sheets covered with blood or close my eyes on the ultrasound until I hear that everything is perfect. Everything does not come up.”
Sanz's unveiling of her pregnancy came after her husband – with whom she has been married for eight years – was cleared by four Catalan High Court judges of raping a woman in a plush nightclub in Barcelona in December 2022.
After cleaning up her husband, who spent 14 months on pre -trial detention before he was saved, Sanz issued a statement with disclosure that she felt she was the one who was justified.
She wrote on Instagram: “I was chosen, insulted, threatened and prosecuted for two years. As if I was the one in the dock.
“Despite so much media/public damage, I am still standing, I have no work at work if so many wanted it to happen, faithful to my beliefs and defenses that I think without being intoxicated by others.”
Sanz added: “I invite you to stop expressing your hatred of people you know nothing about.
“To be informed and trained, so that you don't have to bite your tongue, which sometimes poisons.”
The prosecutor of Alves is planning to start a last ditch to the Supreme Court of Spain after the earlier attempts of her lawyer to get Alves 12 years in prison for conviction.
