It has been pandemonium in Barcelona in recent days as they rushed to secure the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. However, they ultimately failed to do so before the December 31 deadline, although there is still hope that a positive resolution will be reached within the next 48 hours.
Through it all, Olmo has been a bystander. He has resigned himself to everything going ahead, but despite the initial deadline having passed, the 26-year-old still believes Barcelona will secure his registration for the second half of the season, according to Diario AS.
For now, Olmo is only considering staying at Barcelona, which he considers the club of his life. There is the option for him to terminate his contract (with full pay) if he cannot be registered, although this is not being considered by him or those around him at this stage.
