BARCELONA star Dani Olmo's agent is in Manchester due to Premier League interest in his client, who could be available for free in January.
Olmo, 26, made an emotional comeback to boyhood club Barca after signing a £50 million deal with RB Leipzig in August, shortly after helping Spain win the 2024 European Championship by beating England in the final.
However, the Blaugrana were unable to register the playmaker due to their ongoing financial problems.
That was until Hansi Flick's side lost Andreas Christensen to a long-term injury, allowing them to register the Spain international as an emergency player.
However, this short-term arrangement expires at the end of the year, meaning LaLiga leaders will have to find another way to officially get Olmo on their books by December 31.
The Spanish Football Federation will demand that Barcelona make more cuts, seek more revenue and meet their financial guidelines.
That the Catalan giants have launched legal proceedings against LaLiga and initially hoped to reach a resolution before next week.
If no solution is found, Olmo, who theoretically has a contract until 2030, will effectively be banned from playing for his boyhood club.
This unusually chaotic situation has sparked interest from the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal, who are all looking for attacking reinforcements ahead of the January transfer window.
The Premier League giants could face competition from Bayern Munich in the winter market.
The Spaniard's priority has always been to stay at Camp Nou, but the lengthy process has forced his agent Andy Bara to explore possible moves.
According to The Mail, Bara flew to Manchester on a private jet to attend the Premier League match between Manchester City and Everton at the Etihad.
The agent told the same source that he was “on holiday” in Britain.
Olmo scored six goals and one assist in fifteen games in all competitions with Barcelona.
This comes after 29 goals and 34 appearances in 148 games with RB Leipzig.
