Eric Nicksick went so far that it described the performance of Strickland as 'not -inspiring', which shocked the MMA community.

Daniel Cormier gave his opinion about Eric Nicksick's comments about Sean Strickland
On UFC 312, in the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, Sean Strickland tried to reclaim his belt against Dricus du Plessis.
The warrior, who bravely continued after breaking his nose, was lacking in urgency and was unable to win back the 185-pound band.
Consequently, Eric Nicksick called his opinion and received a recoil from combat sport fans.
Daniel Cormier, however, agreed with everything he said, apart from the alone wanted to coach one type of hunter.
In a video worked out to his YouTube channel, the former two-weight King, explained: “The only area I think coach Nicksick was wrong was” I want to coach world champions. “
“Not everyone becomes a world champion. You cannot coach all world champions. Your coach World Champions, your coach guys who might come to the Contender Series and lose, your coach guys who may reach an LFA title, and that might be.
“You may get a man who comes to the UFC, has a cup of tea, 0-2, and he is out. So you can't only coach world champions. I get the thought of what he says, but not everyone gets there. Make your goal, but I don't know if you say that publicly. But every great coach will have words for their athlete. '
Moreover, Cormier supported the public criticism of the trainer on Strickland.
He claimed: “I don't blame the coach. I think a great coach should honestly judge their athletes, but very hard when they do not compete with the possibility you expect, because if you don't, who will go? Especially in a world where most people say yes. “

Alex Pereira's live response to the poor performance of Sean Strickland on UFC 312 Unveiled by Coach
It was not only the head coach of Strickland who was stunned by his recent title challenge, but also Alex Pereira.
Since he went to his head in 2022, his 'Poatan' and the American became good friends, with the light heavyweight champion that goes beyond and outside to help his fellow mixed war artist improve his profession.
That is why it was not a big surprise when the Brazilian appeared in the corner of his buddy.
According to Nicksick, however, Pereira was not quite satisfied with some Strickland in the cage.
