Daniel Cormier will always be remembered because he is part of perhaps the greatest rivalry in the UFC history.
'DC' fought twice against Jon Jones for the light heavyweight title, but their career are much more connected than all regular former opponents.
After their success on 205 pounds, both men successfully moved to the heavyweight division with 'Bones' who is currently the division champion.
Cormier was stunned to see Jones's recent comments about how he believes that he would have been even more dominant against his rival in heavyweight.
It is clear that the UFC commentator is not interested in doing a back and forth with Cormier to reject the opportunity to coach against Jones in a reality TV program.

Daniel Cormier says that Jon Jones must concentrate on the present and fight Tom Aspinall
In a recent video on his YouTube channel, Daniel Cormier spoke more about the recent comments from Jon Jones about how a fight would have gone on heavyweight.
'DC' retired in August 2020 after the conclusion of his trilogy with Stipe Miocic, where he lost back-to-back fights.
That same month, Jones announced that he would leave the light heavyweight title to take some free time and prepare for a switch to heavyweight.
Cormier believes that 'Bones' should concentrate on what lies for him instead of what could have happened in the past if different circumstances had taken place.

Fans are critical of Jones during the current saga with interim champion Tom Aspinall who has become tired of the title Unification Clash.
Cormier's simple suggestion to his former rival was that if he really wants to prove a point about how good he is on heavyweight, he has to fight against the man who believes he is better.
'Talking about what you would have done to me seven years ago, five years ago when I retired. What about this? I have a new idea for you. I am retired. I'm ready. I'm ready. I was rinsed. I am a broadcaster. I am a commentator. I am a talking head. What about this new idea? Fight the guy who really wants to fight.
“I don't want to fight against Jones. I don't feel like fighting someone. But what about fighting the guy who is actually waiting to fight you, Tom Aspinall. It's not about what happened at the time. We want to know if consumers will know what is going to happen today.”
The fans are largely on the same page as Daniel Cormier
It is not only Daniel Cormier who wants to see Jon Jones look for him instead of thinking about the past.
Among each Jones -related post on social media, the comments are filled with people who call him to fight Tom Aspinall or share gifs of the interim heavyweight champion.
'Bones' even looked to stay ahead of a recent seminar announcement in which he referred to the criticism that he is doing, “anything but fighting”.
Jones had even said a few years ago, when both men were active that he would not fight against Cormier against heavyweight because he would give up too much benefit.
