One UFC 317 hunter did not lose his sense of humor despite a harmful defeat.
Heavyweight Promotion started on Saturday's UFC 317-PAY-OVERVIEVER on Saturday, with Jhonata Diniz and Alvin Hines among those who are in charge of setting the stage for two headliners championship.
Opening the Prelims for a map by Charles Oliveira vs. Ilia Topuria and Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Kara-France, Diniz and Hines were successful in a slow heavyweight collision.
The more experienced Brazilian clearly got better from the stock markets, while his bleeding strikes and the debuting Hines during the opening minutes bruised.
The smiling American, however, remained cheerful.

Alvin Hines had a hilarious question for Daniel Cormier just after his UFC 317 defeat
Hines answered the call for his Octagon debut in the short term, to replace Justin Tafa after the heavyweight of Kiwi was forced to withdraw from UFC 317 for two weeks.
The 33-year-old had hoped to make an upset in 'Sin City', but Diniz turned out to be an obstacle that was too long during the combat evening.
However, that has not affected the spirit of Hines. Instead, 'Goozie' jokes in the aftermath of his very first loss in MMA.
He commented on his damaged face by asking rhetorical cageside commentator Daniel Cormier if he was hit during the three-round competition.
“He said,” DC, am I even touched? “” Cormier said while laughing. “Yes, you have touched a few times, my friend.”
Alvin Hines has absorbed 112 significant strikes when losing UFC 317 debut
Although Hines probably doesn't have to tell, the actual figure of significant strikes he ate at UFC 317 exceeded three digits.
Per UFC statistics, Diniz 112 of 182 landed important strikes that were thrown in the first fight on Saturday, with a success rate of 61 percent.
From those shots, the majority landed to the head of Hines, and it is safe to say that the 94 strokes gathered and resulted in severe damage to the Octagon newcomer.
Nevertheless, the game performance of Hines was still praising and it might have been enough to get him a chance to introduce the profit column in the largest stage in MMA.
