The light heavyweight division of the UFC has been the home of some of the best hunters and biggest stars of all time.
Dominick Reyes is one of the few hunters who can say that he has shared the Octagon with the man who consider many of all time.
Not only that, many people still believe that he deserved to win that fight with Reyes who still went back and forth with Jon Jones five years after their light heavyweight title fight.
After having had four consecutive losses that almost derailed his career, 'The Devastator' was able to turn things around.
In anticipation of the huge next fight by Reyes that could finally see him climbing back in the title photo, he was given the task of mentioning the best hunters who have ever participated in the 205 pound division of the UFC.

Dominick Reyes explains why Daniel Cormier does not make his light heavyweight Mount Rushmore about four former champions
For some time the light heavyweight division of the UFC was the home of many of the top stars of the promotion before many of them were beaten by Jon Jones.
Despite their history of UFC 247, Dominick Reyes did not jump surprisingly right to 'Bones' when he was asked on the Poundcast of Pound 4 Pound for his Mount Rushmore of UFC Light Heavyweights.
The place of Jones cannot be denied after his track record at 205 pounds, but there is certainly room for debate when you try to fill the other places.
For many people, the obvious second selection Daniel Cormier would be, who also achieved great things in the weight class, even though it was with Jones at the same time.

Reyes did not surprisingly mention 'DC' as one of his four selections and instead chose to take care of his list for some of the earlier stars that defined the division.
“The goat is Jon. I'm going to put Forrest [Griffin] up there [of] What he did for the sport and the division in general. Tube [Liddell]. You have to go chuck … I have to go randy [Couture] and Tito [Ortiz] Type of interchangeable. “
When Kamaru Usman was questioned about the absence of Cormier in the list, Reyes revealed why he chose to deal with three former champions who came before the Hall of Famer.
“I feel like Cormier, he is a great hunter, don't get me wrong, but it was a different time. Who did he defend his belt? … I have a great respect for Daniel, but I say all the time, that is my list and it is based on opinion.”
Dominick Reyes chooses himself as the most underrated hunter on the UFC schedule
Dominick Reyes would not call who he believes that the most overrated hunter is in the UFC and struggled to come up with a pick for the most underestimated.
He is of the opinion that these terms do not take so many other factors into account as an example of how Rentheidsbias can completely change how someone is viewed.
“It might be, but then at some point they could have mentioned me the most. See, because they are all circumstances.
Reyes, however, eventually put forward his name and stated that the two men above him in the current light heavyweight rankings at #7 and #6 are currently driving on three-fighter streaks while he has won three in a row.
“I will just say that I am most underestimated now. Let's just say that.”
