Data Debrief: Marmoush makes his mark

Omar Marmoush plundered a beautiful hat trick in the first half when Manchester City Newcastle United hit the Premier League 4-0.

The Egyptian doubled when he came in five minutes later via a deflection of Kieran Trippier, before he completed his hat trick with a composed, first finish of Savinho's cutbacks.

Lewis Milley had the best attempt by Newcastle on a second half with a restrained second half, before James McATee ended the city of the city when he hooked from a corner in the 84th minute.

With just 33 minutes on the clock when Marmoush yielded his third goal, it is the Na-studiest that a city player has scored a Premier League-Hattrick, after Kevin De Bruyne against Wolves in May 2022 (24th minute).

Newcastle has now lost their last 16 Premier League matches in City and suffered their greatest defeat from the top flight since May 2022, when they lost 5-0 in the Etihad Stadium.
