Fiorentina -Frontman Moise Kean has been told that “one good year is not enough” after excel in the Serie A – who attracted the attention of Manchester United.

In his career, the Italian has passed some less memorable stints and rather trouble making an impact during his time at Everton. The Toffees signed Kean of Juventus and then sold him back after he could not deliver consistently.

Now he proves his value after finding a house in Florence. The last term, Kean scored a career high 25 goals in 44 games and was mentioned in the Serie Team of the season. The interest in him flourished when it came forward, he had a release contract of £ 44.5 million in his contract – but the deadline to activate it is reportedly accepted.

United wants to strengthen their forward line and want a no. 9 a supplement to newcomers Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. They are also connected to people like Nicolas Jackson in Chelsea and RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko.

Kean is one of those names on their shortlist, but former altoted star David de Gea has told his new teammate that his stellar season for Doel cannot be a one-male and he must replicate his songs.

The Gea told the Italian outlet Cronache: “When I arrived, my Italian was terrible and we spoke in English. Now I have improved and I communicate with him [Kean] Easier. He had an excellent season, but now he has to have a good year for me, and then another one, and so on.

“One good year is not enough, he has to continue and build on what he has done. He has placed a number of very good figures, but he has to hold on and prove that he can do it over time.”

De Gea has revealed that he would never have stayed to play in England if it was not for United, even though his contract was allowed to walk before he left in 2023. The Spaniard spent more than a decade in Manchester before he found a new house in Italy.

He said: “I only wanted Manchester United, and although it is true that I received offers from England, I knew that it would be impossible for me to play somewhere else. I spent my whole life there, it is the club that has formed me and allowed me to have a wonderful career. Football has happened to come here.”
