David Raya emphasized the positives after Arsenal was defeated by Paris Saint-Germain in the first stage of their Champions League semi-final in the Emirates Stadium
Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya set a brave face after the defeat of the Gunners' Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain, but not everyone thought his optimism was justified. Wayne Rooney made the Spaniard for his position on the 1-0 reverse, with fellow expert Clarence Seedorf agrees.

Rooney did not see things in the same way, but had a theory when it came to the motivation behind the comments. “I think what happened, Mikel Arteta probably went in and tried to be as positive as possible as he can be and David Raya has given back that message, because that is certainly not what happened in the game,” he said.
“I think there is a fear for Arsenal in recent years, psychologically, there is a fear of not over the line. They have closed Manchester City in the competition a few times, they have closed Liverpool a little close, now they have defeated Madrid and they are close to the Champions League …
“I think there is a fear. There is an obstacle that they have to continue. You must be successful to build, and that is the only way you can build is successful on the way to the trip to the top, and I don't think they are taking those steps.”
