
Dayot Upamecanos (26) period of absence for Bayern Munich has been revealed. According to Le Parisien, the Frenchman is expected to miss about five to six weeks of competition.
The middle behind played the entire 120 minutes when France conquered Croatia in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Nations League in the Stade de France on Sunday evening. He even yielded the winning spot kick to seal the progression from France to the last four, which will take place in the summer.
On his return from the international duty, however, it was revealed that he was set to the sidelines for a period. Bayern Munich has confirmed that the middle behind loose joints in his left knee, for which treatment and a period of recovery is needed. The Bavarian side called on an absence of “a few weeks”.
However, Le Parisien has now placed a more specific timeline on his return. The publication understands that he will miss five or six weeks, which means that Upamecano will not occur in the quarterfinals or the semi -final of the UEFA Champions League. However, he would be available for the final in the Allianz Arena, if Bayern Munich makes it there.
