Fight fans are preparing for one of the largest matchups of the year that will take place within a few weeks.
From the moment that the UFC 319 main event was announced, crazy predictions came in for the next defense of the title of Dricus du Plessis.
It is a fairly common conviction under the combat sport world that when Khamzat starts leaving Chimaev Chicago with the 185 pound gold, he has to finish the fight early.
Du Plessis may have recently changed ideas with a post on social media, but his last update before August 16 has led some fans to double their thoughts.
Fans respond to Dricus du Plessis who is in a remarkable form for UFC 319
During his entire 25-Fight pro-career, Dricus Du Plessis has only been to the score cards three times.
Although in all three who has become victorious, there were many questions about his cardio in some of his early performances in the Octagon.
Du Plessis was able to put those doubts behind him in his two fights with Sean Strickland, where he maintained a fixed pace for the full five rounds in both matchups.

On the other hand, there are some concerns about the sustainability of Khamzat Chimaev on the basis of his explosive wrestling style and some of his earlier fights that have gone past the opening round.
The recent Instagram post of the title defender, in which he seems to be in a remarkable physical form prior to UFC 319, had fans locked their predictions on social media.
“DDP due to great form.”
“I just can't see him being brave, even as good as Khamzat. I hope we get this fight. '
“Khamzat will be forgotten forever after the throbbing DDP has pulled him.”
“As soon as Khamzat has not ended the fight within the first two rounds, it is almost certain that DDP will beat him.”
'Looks good. This will be a sick fight, I can't wait !! '
“Dricus is a tank.”
Top 5 UFC Middleweight believes that Dricus du Plessis is more difficult to prepare than Khamzat Chimaev
While Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev are both incredibly different personalities in MMA, the two elite middle weights also bring incredibly unique styles to the table.
After his victory over Robert Whittaker in Abu Dhabi, Reinier de Ridder gave his thoughts about what it would be like to prepare for both men.
'The Dutch Knight' claimed that he believes that the champion would be more difficult to prepare, despite the dominant struggle of the Challenger title.
“Khamzat would be a simpler fight to prepare,” said De Ridder.
“He is more a typical style. I can take a few Dagestanis and Chechens who are quite similar to Khamzat. It's not as strange as Dricus is.”
