De Rossi becomes new owner of Italian fourth-tier side Ostiamare

Daniele de Rossi has completed and promises to build his acquisition of the Italian fourth side of Ostiamare “to build a solid, transparent and innovative club”.

The former Roma boss is unemployed since his departure from Stadio Olimpico in September after a bad start to the season.

De Rossi goes back to where it all started, after he had played for the OstiaMare youth team between 1997 and 2000 before moving to Roma.

The ex-Italy midfielder then made more than 600 performances for the Giallorossi, while he helped the Azzurri win the 2006 World Cup.

And the 41-year-old is pleased to start a “new chapter”, and promises to strengthen the community of the semi-professional club in the suburb of the coast in Rome.

He wrote on Instagram: “My goal will be to work on building a solid, transparent and innovative club, a means to unite people, promote community values ​​and bringing families closer to their area, with the pride in Ostia to And represent the field.
