Stephen Thompson is one of the biggest strikers we have ever seen in the Octagon.
During his incredible UFC career, Thompson has some remarkable knockouts and wins as a result of the specialized skills he brings to the table.
His ups and downs led Thompson to UFC Nashville on July 12, where he is confronted with Gabriel Bonfim in another explosive confrontation with good weight.
'Wonderboy', however, may not have the best memories of fighting in Nashville after what happened to him the last time he participated in the Bridgestone Arena.

Stephen Thompson broke his own knockout loss during a UFC -Livestream
Although his knockout loss for Anthony Pettis was not his first setback in the UFC, this defeat only yielded more evidence that Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson is perhaps the nicest hunter on the Roster.
The American was in the wrong end of one of the best knockouts of the year when 'Showtime' jumped off the gate for a Superman punch who dropped his opponent.
However, this did not prevent Thompson from breaking down the finish during a live stream he did for the Twitch channel of the UFC.
After analyzing some of his best victories, it was finally time to pay attention to his worst defeat, while Thompson deleted for the moment of impact.
“Bink, no! I love stiffening, that's the worst. Okay, we have to go back and look very quickly. Oh man. Okay, look, we're slowly going with it.”
Fans paid their respect to the cases 'Wonderboy' in the LiveChat, because he claimed that he was 'death immediately'.
Thompson also stated that although the knockout itself is not necessarily fun to look at, it is the follow-up recordings that had landed as soon as he was already gone that are the most difficult for him to see.
“I don't mind seeing that. What really hurts me is this here, here it goes, boom. He crushes my face. Oh guy, he beats me twice. Someone has to get up a meme of my soul from my body. That's the worst, okay, I come out here.”
Stephen Thompson seems to be back on the right track after a few difficult results in Nashville
Stephen Thompson has achieved a difficult form of shape after winning one of his last five in the Octagon.
While the vast majority of those fights against the top talent has come into the Welterweight Division, he takes a step back for his next outing against Gabriel Bonfim.
That does not mean that the 17-1 Brazilian is not an incredibly dangerous opponent for Thompson again, after he had yielded 13 victories by submission.
This fight could determine whether Thompson can continue to compete in and around the top 15 now that he is 42 years old.
