Real Madrid has to move first players in order to be able to make further signing sessions and candidates have been identified. One of Fran Garcia or Ferland Mendy is expected to leave, while Rodrygo Goes is strongly connected to a switch to the Premier League. There has also been speculation about Andriy Lunin, although he will stay in the Spanish capital.
Lunin has been a Real Madrid player since 2018 and he has been involved in the first team for the past five years. During his time he made 62 performances and is generally considered an excellent backup for Thibaut Courtois.
However, his versions have led to speculation that he could leave Real Madrid to be a starter elsewhere. The 26-year-old has been associated with Manchester United, but more recently is a move to Villarreal rumors, where the yellow submarine is looking for an experienced Champions League goalkeeper.
However, neither clubs will sign Lunin this summer, with Diario as a message that Real Madrid will not listen to offers for their Ukrainian goalkeeper. The player himself is also planning to stay and fight for his place next to Courtois, who will sign a new contract in the very near future.
Lunin signed a new contract last summer, which will go through it until 2030. Although he has not stayed in Real Madrid so far, he has no plans to leave quickly, which is excellent for Los Blancos, since he is an excellent back -up goalkeeper.
