Dejan Kulusevski tells his Tottenham team-mates they must ‘do MORE’

Dejan Kulusevski urged his Tottenham teammates to do 'a little more' to help the club return to winning ways after they were held to a 1-1 draw at Rangers in the Europa League.

Half-time substitute Kulusevski struck in the 75th minute to give Spurs a point at Ibrox, but they have tasted success just once in their last eight games ahead of Sunday's trip to Southampton.

'I think Rangers played very well. We struggled a bit and in the end it was 1-1, it is what it is. We didn't play well enough to win the match,” Kulusevski told TNT Sports.

'Rangers played a perfect match, with the stadium, it's a beautiful stadium, the fans helped them a lot and we missed a little bit in the first half. The second half was a little better, but we move on to Sunday.

Kulusevski was one of a number of changes made by Ange Postecoglou in the second half, leading to a backlash after Rangers drew first blood shortly after half-time.

On his introduction to the game, Kulusevski said his manager urged him to “change something.”

“(Just) to make something happen,” he added. “I managed it once, but today it wasn't enough.”

The Sweden international stressed the importance of Tottenham turning around their lackluster form of late and became increasingly candid in the interview after the final whistle.

“We have to start winning games,” he continued. 'We haven't won for a few weeks, so on Sunday it's time to win.

'Everyone has to do a little more than we are doing now. Great support today from the fans, but like I said, we have to win on Sunday.'
