Chelsea is close to the closing of a £ 30 million deal to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, with the striker offering an advantage with the loan from Jadon Sancho that ends while returning to Manchester United
Liam Delap could be set to take the number 19 shirt in Chelsea, while Jadon Sancho is preparing to return to Manchester United. Chelsea is close to securing the signing of the city of Ipswich, after activating its £ 30 million release clause.
The 22-year-old striker is now ready to make the switch to Stamford Bridge, after he received a six-year contract earlier this week after a medical medical one. Delap also wore the number 48 shirt during his time in Manchester City, a number that is currently not assigned in Chelsea. The prospect of wearing the same song he was wearing while he left his mark in the Premier League and for England may be too tempting to resist, Football London reports.
Sancho, 25, is expected to leave for West -London when his contract ends at the end of June, resulting in a loss of £ 5 million for Chelsea.
It is understood that a permanent step for Sancho Doornam after personal conditions could not be agreed between the club and the former Borussia Dortmund star.
