'The Great' is still incredibly certain that only one opponent can match him in the Octagon.
Alexander Volkanovski is confronted with Diego Lopes for the empty UFC -Fedweight title in the Kaseya Center in Miami next month.
The former champion already has plans for his second title line at 145 pounds with Volkanovski focused on Movsar Evloev as his first challenger.
Despite this trust, the Aussie admitted in advance that Volkanovski after taking the longest break of his career had some doubts about his ability to return.
This has since been removed with UFC 314 who comes closer where he believes that the only chance that he will suffer a defeat is if he is caught with a lucky shot.

Fans respond to Alexander Volkanovski and say that only the chance of a puncher and Islam Makhachev can beat him
After he has been going without loss for ten years, Alexander Volkanovski now notices looking back from successive knockout losing with a record of 1-3 in his last four outings.
Although his first fight with Islam Makhachev was very close to the Rematch that took place in the short term, many of which believe that it influenced his rapid turning to see Ilia Topuria on UFC 298, it does not change that 12 April is a huge date for 'The Great'.
His recent losses have not changed the mentality that he always brings to the octhoek where he always has a total confidence in his skills.
Being the best hunter does not always mean securing the victory, as Volkanovski spoke in a recent interview with the main event when he was asked about the aggressive and somewhat reckless style of Diego Lopes.
“We have to remember that I don't believe someone can beat me. The only person I can see give me a tough fight for five rounds is the Islam Makhachev that, you know, in the first as you have seen. Everyone has just a chance of a puncher, that's just how I always look at it and I really believe.
With the quote from Volkanovski about the fact that the only a “Puncher's Chance” has a “Puncher's Chance” on social media, fans responded to his recent comments.
Although this kind of self -confidence is likely to be prominent in many mixed strate artists at a high level, fans were critical of 'the great' for this opinion.
“Bro is stuck in the past,” one user noticed, while the other labeled the former champion as “misled”.
“This man is a loser. I hope he will be eliminated by Lopes so that he learns his lesson.”
Alexander Volkanovski does not believe that someone can beat him:

Alexander Volkanovski should think against Diego Lopes
Another fan on social media pointed out why this mentality is an advantage for Alexander Volkanovski instead of an example that he is 'delusions' about his recent defeats.
“Good mentality to have if you basically start fighting a cage to fight for your life. If you don't have faith in yourself, you will be eaten alive by those elite hunters.”

Diego Lopes is not a hunter who knows how to fight with a reserved pace, so if Volkanovski had doubts about his ability to compete or resist damage at the highest level, that would be tested quickly.
By believing that he is still the very best, it gives him the confidence that he has to fight as he has always done, even though he is in the most difficult results of his entire career.
