Demetrious Johnson is hopeful that former Muay Thai and the current world champion Kickboxing, Jonathan Haggerty, is finally transferred to MMA.
This Thursday a championship champion of the Jonathan Haggerty championship will defend his title against Rui Wei on a 171 in Qatar.
The exciting British striker was also the Bantamweight Muay Thai champion of the promotion, but he was dethroned by Superlek last September.
Since a few years, the 28-year-old has plagued a potential crossover to MMA and has always stated that it will inevitably happen.

Demetrious Johnson pushes Haggerty to make MMA -Crossover
One championship was involved in the famous very first trade in MMA with the UFC when Demetrious Johnson was traded on one and Ben Askren went the opposite side.

After he consistently plagued a crossover from MMA, Haggerty recently told Bloody Elbow that his favorite opponent would be former UFC champion, Sean O'Malley.
With 'The General' is one of the most talented kickboxers who are there, 'Mightymouse' has admitted that he would like the Brit to finally make his transition to MMA.
The former UFC champion believes that Haggerty could follow in the footsteps of former kickbokkamioen and now UFC Superstar, Alex Pereira.

Other kickboxers who have successfully switched to MMA

With a victory over Rui Wei this Thursday, Haggerty will open various potential roads, with MMA the most demanded.
