The charity match of Liverpool with Chelsea in Anfield on Saturday became ugly when a blues hero to Jay Speasing squared.
Former players of the two Premier League parties fought in a match for different foundations, in which the Reds came from 2-0 winners thanks to a brace of former Spits-Omtoed expert Peter Crouch.
But the fixture was overshadowed by an incident that took place in the 27th minute.
Former Chelsea Hardman Dennis Wise and Spearing came to succeed when he tried to win a loose ball, with a wise quadratic quadrates to his opponent after the period of play.
Wise, who is captain's team, is 58 and won two FA Cups in his 440 performances for Chelsea. He is 22 years old that the senior is Spearing, but was not back for a potential struggle.
As players from both parties, including Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink and Ragnar Klavan, intertwined, stacked, wag with his finger in the direction of the coach of the Reds under the age of 18.
It turned out that Wise had withdrawn on a Jokey manner when he tried to break with the ball. The couple were finally pulled apart and the game was allowed to continue.
Wise also played for people like Wimbledon, Millwall and Coventry in his career, while he was put down 21 times by England.
Since his retirement in 2006, he has been immersed in management, while also holding on executive positions at Newcastle and Como.
In the meantime, Speasing played 55 times for Liverpool, while he also played for Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool before he started coaching himself.
He played on Saturday in the Liverpool team leader by Steven Gerrard, with people like Dirk Kuyt and Ryan Babel too.
The proceeds went to the LFC Foundation, and supported beneficiaries, including Forever Reds, the Chelsea Players' Trust and the Chelsea FC Foundation.
The match also commemorated Chelsea's 2004-05 season, which means they claim their very first Premier League and the first top-flight title in 50 years, as well as the EFL Cup that Liverpool had defeated in the final.
Some remarkable names on both sides were Gianfranco Zola, Claude Makelele, William Gallas, Steven Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt and Crouch. Sir Kenny Dalglish managed the Liverpool Legends team, while the Chelsea legends were led by Roberto di Matteo.
But it was Crouch who stole the show after the confrontation of Wise and Spearing, while he pulled a lot of smiles by hiding his iconic robot celebrations after switching his first goal. He scored again to complete the victory for the hosts.
