But Ancelotti, who will be replaced by Xabi Alonso, will leave the club as the most successful manager in the illustrious history of Madrid, with 15 trophies under his belt, including three Champions League titles.
“There have been a few unforgettable years that I will wear very close to my heart,” said Ancelotti reporters prior to Wednesday's collision with Mallorca – If Madrid does not win, Barca is crowned champion.
“Football, just like life itself, is full of adventures that start, but eventually have to end. I always knew that one day it would end my time here at Real.
“It has been a wonderful period that is coming to an end. A great time. But if even life ends, imagine what it is like when a time with a football team ends.
“I enjoyed it and I want to finish it well. And then, on the 26th, I will talk about another challenge.”

The fact that Madrid still officially announced the departure of Ancelotti was raised by reporters, but he played it and said that everything was done in accordance with all the parts involved.
“Real will issue a statement if they think enough, but there is no problem or problem between all parts,” said Ancelotti.
“I have never had any problems with Real and will never have problems with Real. It is a club that lives a lot in my heart, but everything in life has a date to end.”
The 65-year-old, who has won the Champions League five times and supervision of 350 Madrid competitions in all competitions, was also questioned about his potential replacement.
“I love [Alonso]”said Ancelotti, who coached the Spaniard in both Madrid and Bayern Munich.

“The day I arrived, if someone had told me that I would win 11 titles in four years, I would have signed [for] It in blood, “he joked.
“This season did not go well for many reasons. But it has been an unforgettable period.
“I couldn't be Madrid coach for the rest of my life. It will come to an end for many reasons. The club may need a new impulse. I don't make it a big deal.
“Thousand thanks to this club. And we'll continue. I will always be a fan of Madrid. It's the end of an era. Spectacular. I never thought I would coach Madrid for six years, and now it happened.”
