The nature of the project in Paris Saint-Germain has shifted considerably over the past two years. No longer a team of large superstars, the project is now focused on prospects with a high potential, many of whom are French.
Désiré Doué (19) is one of the poster boys of this new approach. He has become a French international since he made the switch to PSG of Formative Club Stade Rennais in the summer. Despite a slow start, Doué has become an important player for Les Parisiens and already has 23 target contributions in all competitions (11 goals, 12 assists). During the weekend he yielded the only goal of the game, while PSG SCO Angers defeated to secure a fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title.
There are no signs of PSG that go along with their attempts to bring the smartest prospects of all over France to the club. Olympique Lyonnais' Rayan Cherki (21) and as Monacos Maghnes Akliouche (23) are heavily connected to a move to the Parc des Princes.
Doué spoke Tuesday on Tuesday, called on the potential arrivals of the couple. “It will be their choice and that of the club. I made the choice to come to PSG and I am very happy with it. It is a club that makes many players dream. It is a great project,” said the French International prior to PSG's meeting with Aston Villa in the UEFA Champions League.
Akliouche is expected to leave the Formative Club Monaco this summer, while Cherki, the subject of an approach to PSG last summer, is also expected to leave his formative club. He arouses interest from all over Europe.
