Back-to-back defeats, with Sunday at Roma, interfall to second-place on the Serie A Table Three Points behind new leaders Napoli have seen.
Di Canio has questioned the management of Inzaghi and is convinced that the players “turn their back”.
“If this is the real version of Inter, with two games against Barcelona, they will have trouble getting a result against everyone,” Di Canio told Sky Italia.
“I might agree on physical problems, but after 15 rounds Inter already had seven fewer points than in the previous season. Motivations make a difference.
“There are coaches who know how to set it up, and coaches such as Inzaghi who are very good in other aspects, such as the playing style. Simone is delighted with his football, but then there is a management problem.
“You can't just blame fatigue if you admit twice against Parma. Inter is too often fed back, and it's not just to be tired.”
Players who abandon Inzaghi
“Against Bayern everyone was ready to take photos to their faces to admit. This does not mean that Inzaghi is not a good coach; he is excellent in certain things. However, (Antonio) Conte and Inzaghi are different, because each has something that fogs the other. It is true that some players are not useful, for example (piotr) soulsinski.”
Given the performance of Inter for their 1-0 defeat against Roma, Di Canio could only see one player who shows the right attitude.
“We are talking about the team that has suffered 11 times in the last 20 minutes of matches. It is about bringing results home with determination and grit, the only one I saw fighting when Inter was 1-0 (Francesco) Acerbi,” he said.
“He gave me pity with him. He is the only one who still believes, while the others just turn their back on.”
