‘Did not get hacked’… Daniel Cormier shares theory on Alex Pereira’s controversial UFC retirement tweet

Daniel Cormier does not believe that Alex Pereira was the victim of a hacker.

On Wednesday, the X account of the former light heavyweight and middleweight champion posted a message about a fight with the UFC bosses, who apparently had left the Brazilian Ko artist who retired.

Alex Pereira quickly suppressed the fear of a UFC pension by claiming that he was the victim of a hacker.

UFC legend Daniel Cormier, however, was one of the many people who did not believe his story.

Daniel Cormier shares theory about Alex Pereira Hack

Dana White's right hand recently traveled to Dagestan to discuss the next fight of Islam Makhachev.

Daniel Cormier believes that Hunter Campbell called a phone call there, making Alex Pereira furious.

In the event of a premonition, 'DC' claimed courageously, Pereira made the hack story resist after calming.

“Pereira is a liar. Pereira was not hacked,” said Cormier on the Good Guy/Bad Guy Show that he shares with Chael Sonnen.

'Pereira may have tweeted something and then someone called him as:' Yo, calm, let's chill. “I don't believe the hacked thing, Bro.

“While Hunter was met in Dagestan with Islam and discussed the fight, they still had no fight for the International Vechtweek. So, Hunter goes:” What about you, [Magomed] Ankalaev, are you available? “Ankalaev is like:” I could fight. “

'Then he goes to Pereira and says:' Alex, are you available? “Pereira replies:” Well, it's a short time to get ready. ” Hunter replies: 'Okay, Alex, we are going to give someone else this title fight.

“Alex gets angry, goes to the internet, put it outside and then starts the call: 'Hey, man'.

“Those are my thoughts. That is what happened. I don't know this as a fact, but I know this game enough to put it together and I feel pretty confident to say it on ESPN.”

What is the next step for Alex Pereira?

Pereira lost his light heavyweight title to Ankalaev in a unanimous decision defeat on UFC 313 in March.

Dana White immediately spoke a rematch, but there has been no official announcement about it.

Ankalaev got jokes for the honor of hacking Pereira while responding to the controversial tweet.

“It was me. I hacked his account. Don't worry, Alex. I am waiting for you,” he wrote on X.

It seems to be just a matter of time before a date and location for Ankalaev vs Pereira 2 is announced.
