Diego Simeone prepared for Julian Alvarez risk against Getafe

Atletico Madrid Face a la Liga Trip through the capital to hire Getafe tomorrow while the title race strengthens.

Los Rojiblancos can be aware of the top spot with a victory after Barcelona's weekend collision with Osasuna was postponed.

The side of Diego Simeone is only one point behind La Blaugrana in second place – with Real Madrid three points from the top – which Hen Rayo Vallecano just after the game of Atletico Madrid.

The competition comes as part of a huge week for Atletico Madrid, because they welcome Los Blancos in the Estadio Metropolitano for their UEFA Champions League last 16 second-stage on March 12, with 2-1 behind the first game.

This is quickly followed by an essential home game against Barcelona on March 16, which can have a decisive impact on the title race.

Prior to the Getafe match, it is not expected that Simeone makes major changes, whereby the defense switches are expected to balance his team.

Simeone will ask most of his star names to play, including attacking duo Julian Alvarez and Antoine Griezmann, even though the latter has to manage his game time.

However, the most important care for Alvarez focuses on the possibility of suspension, with the Argentinian currently on four yellow cards in League Action.

If he takes on a booking against Getafe, he will immediately make one game of the game competition and abused against Barcelona.

Alvarez opened the score against Barcelona in their recent Copa del Rey Semi Semi Semi Second Been and he would be an important absence against Hansi Flick's team.

According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, this is a risk that Simeone is willing to take because of its interest for the team this season.

The 25-year-old has yielded 22 goals in all competitions in his debut campaign after he joined Manchester City last summer, including 10 in La Liga Action.
