RC Strasbourg Alsace has received a big blow now that Dilane Bakwa (22) is on the sidelines for a few weeks after a knee injury, L'équipe understands.
Bakwa sustained the injury during the 1-1 draw from last Sunday against Olympique de Marseille on the Vélodrome. The incident happened in the first half of that meeting, during a duel with Om-defender Ulisses García. The Frenchman suffers from a sprain on his right knee. L'équipe understands that the injury is considerable and will keep it on the sidelines for a few weeks.
It is a big blow to Strasbourg, which is highly dependent on Bakwa's creativity. He already has five assists in Ligue 1 this season. Only Ousmane Dembélé (6), Ludovic Blas and João Neves (both 7) have more than the difficult right winger.
It is an injury that could put Les ASaciens back on the market. In recent days, Foot Mercato reported that RCSA had re -enacted their interest in Gonçalo Borges (23) from Porto.
