
Former UFC Light Heavyweight Title Challenger Dominick Reyes returns to UFC 314.
In addition to his wild knockout finishing, Dominick Reyes is known as the only man who perhaps gave Jon Jones the most difficult test of his UFC career at UFC 247. But he would not have earned the attention of the UFC goat without eliminating one of the greatest mixed martial artists.
Reyes returns this weekend at UFC 314 against Nikita Krylov in a crucial light heavyweight fight with title conflicts on the line. After back-to-back victories to get back to the mix at 205 pounds, Reyes is right on the door of a new shot at UFC Gold.
Reyes earned his first shot in a UFC world title by flattening one of the all time of the promotion.

Dominick Reyes destroyed Chris Weidman in UFC Boston Headliner
Reyes and former UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman Kwadraten in a no. 1 candidate in Boston in 2019. It was a hyped matchup with a lot on the line when Jones considered who he should fight in his light heavyweight title line.
It also marked a new chapter for Weidman, who moved for the first time in his middleweight career to fight against light heavyweight. Many believed that a Jones vs. Weidman Matchup was inevitable until meadow met a devastating blow from Reyes.
After a short clinch against the fence, Reyes immediately caught the Kin van Weidman with a sizzling counter-Left immediately to drop the former middleweight champion. Reyes drew it up with brutal ground and pound strikes to secure the first round finish and ultimately secure a matchup with Jones.
Reyes got up the light heavyweight ladder by winning his first 12 professional fights, including victories over Jared Cannonier, Volkan Uzdemir and Weidman. He continued with a unanimous decision to Jones in one of the most controversial results in the UFC history.

Jon Jones/Dominick Reyes Feud ruled before UFC 314
After Reyes in a recent podcast performance claimed that he still believes that he had been robbed versus Jones, it was not long before the UFC -light heavyweight would hit the legend. In a Social Media Slam, Jones Reyes challenged a game of 'rock paper scissors' to 'finally beat him on something'.
Jones are expected to return to Interim heavyweight title holder Tom Aspinall in a heavyweight later this year. Jones has not fought anymore since the completion of Stipe Miocic on UFC 309 in November.
Reyes has the chance to go on a different title run, starting to expand his current Win -Streak on UFC 314. But the Ghost of the Jones Fight remains in the spirit of Reyes while he is looking for redemption.
