Donald Trump receives rousing reception during UFC 309 walkout compared to prime Conor McGregor

After recently being re-elected as President of the United States, Donald Trump attended the huge UFC 309 event at Madison Square Garden where he received a huge standing ovation.

With UFC 309 being one of the biggest UFC events of the year, A-list celebrities were expected to show up in numbers for the return of heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who will face Stipe Miocic in the main event.

Despite the anticipation for the main event, the fight has been the subject of controversy since it was announced due to the fact that Jones will face an inactive Miocic instead of interim champion, Tom Aspinall.

Donald Trump is receiving a huge backlash after walking out with Dana White at UFC 309

Donald Trump has been a huge fan of the UFC from the start and made sure he was present for what could potentially be Jones' last fight inside the Octagon as it was the first PPV event since his recent election win.

This obviously isn't the first time the president-elect has attended a UFC event, having attended UFC 302 earlier this year to watch the lightweight title fight between Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier.

This time, however, the UFC played a promotional package on the jumbotron of Trump and his time as president, watching as the fans got rowdy.

Every time Trump has gone out with UFC CEO Dana White, he has blown the roof off of the arena he is in with the huge standing ovation he receives.

The UFC boss admitted there are only two strikes that rock the arena, comparing Trump's strike to that of the UFC's biggest star, Conor McGregor.

“You know, it's crazy when you think about it. When you think about fighter strikes, when a fighter walks to the cage, I mean the two biggest ones that actually shake the arena are President Trump and Conor McGregor, two of the biggest fight stoppages ever,” White told TMZ Sports.

Donald Trump reveals he is a big fan of Bo Nickal

Ahead of his recent election, President-elect Trump claimed that he would either attend the blockbuster card as the new president or he would “be depressed and not bother to go.”

Fortunately for the UFC, Trump won the election and kept his word. He attended the event to support a candidate he is closely watching, Bo Nickal.

The undefeated middleweight prospect is scheduled for his toughest test yet as he takes on rugged Scottsman, Paul Craig.

'Do you know Bo Nickal? How is he going to do? I think he's great, he was almost undefeated in college,” Trump recently discussed with Joe Rogan on his podcast.

'When will he fight again? After the elections? So I'm either going to be president, or I'm going to be depressed, and I'm not going to bother running,” Trump continued.
