Donald Trump told he ruined Chelsea’s Club World Cup win as Cole Palmer stunned

Chelsea was crowned champion of the world after their excellent 3-0 victory over PSG in the final of the club World Cup, but the moment was overshadowed by US President Donald Trump after he was on stage during the celebrations

Football fans have hit US President Donald Trump for “ruining Chelsea's moment” by standing with the team while they were stolen the club World Cup on Sunday.

The blues became world champions after an incredible 3-0 win over reigning Champions League winners PSG thanks to a brace from Cole Palmer and another attack from the new signing Joao Pedro.

It was an impressive achievement of the men of Enzo Maresca when she overcome the striking team of the tournament and one who hit their opponents' fear after hammering Inter Milan with 5-0 in the Champions League final and also the Real Madrid 4-0 in the semi-final of this competition.

And while Chelsea players took their way to the stage to lift their trophy and enjoy the history books for a moment, President Trump decided to join them for their parties.

The 79 -year -old was present to transfer the trophy to Captain Reece James – and gave the Golden Glove Award to Robert Sanchez – but had to leave the stage after performing his duties, with even FIFA President Gianni Infantino who convinces him to get away.

But Trump stood there just and then smiled with bewildered Chelsea players muttered him some words – with Man of the Match Palmer seemed to say: “What does he do?”

Fans were not impressed after the game, as someone wrote on Twitter: “Ruined the moment. Photos of those who cancel the CWC will always show Trump.”

Another Trump called “the least respectful president in modern history”, and added: “Infantino clearly tried to get him off the field, but he hijacked the moment and did not let the Chelsea players enjoy their victory.”

A third fan added: “Trump ruined the moment for Chelsea by making it over him and standing in front of Cole Palmer … classic.”

Palmer was clearly irritated by the presence of Trump on stage and after the game was asked about the outspoken politician.

He said, “I knew he would be here, but I didn't know he would be in the stands when we lifted the trophy, so I was a bit confused.”

Captain James added: “I didn't expect him to lift the trophy with us, but I think it will show how big the tournament is. He congratulated me and the team and told us to enjoy the moment.”
