Ahead of Islam Makhachev's title defense against Renato Moicano at UFC 311 later tonight, the Dagestani caught up with Daniel Cormier on the legend's YouTube channel for an entertaining interview.
During their conversation, “DC” brought up the fact that Khabib Nurmagomedov was removed from a Frontier Airlines flight because he wouldn't move from his exit seat when the crew wondered if he could help if an emergency arose.
He asked his guest: “Why are they kicking him out? Is it crazy? Why did they do this to my husband?”
Instead of answering the question directly, Makhachev decided instead to tell the host, “I understand if they kick you out of this emergency exit because you're so big.”

Completely stunned by the comment, the UFC Hall of Famer smacked Dagestani on the hand before insisting: “Don't do that. Don't be disrespectful.”
But instead of apologizing for his comment, Makhachev chose to attempt to provide a valid explanation, insisting: “You're a bit big; You can't move too much.”
Stunned by what he heard, Cormier protested, “All you have to do is pull the lever.”
