PSG: First Champions League
In the UEFA Champions League final of this season, Paris Saint-Germain Inter Milan defeated 5-0 to win the first Champions League title in club history-a night that will be etched forever in the inheritance of PSG.
In 2020, PSG reached the Champions League final for the first time, but that year was Bayern Munich. After demolishing Barcelona 8-2 and Lyon 3-0, Bayern PSG beat 1-0 in the final with a decisive goal of Kingsley Coman.
This season PSG was confronted with early struggles in the group stage, eventually ending in 15th place and he just came to the Play -Off Round. There they crushed colleague French side Brest 10–0 on two legs. In the knockout phases, PSG then faced three Premier League teams in a row – Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal – but nobody could stop their momentum.
By beating Inter Milan in the final, Paris Saint-Germain finally claimed the long-laid Champions League trophy and became the kings of Europe in the 2024/25 season.
