Dricus Du Plessis has the chance to have his name placed next to each other with a few UFC legends by adding another victory to his record at UFC 319.
The UFC champion middle weight defends its title against Khamzat Chimaev on UFC 319, in which both men put their impressive profit stripes on the line in search of gold.
Dricus Du Plessis is ready twice in his career, but since he debuts in the UFC, he has won every fight in which he has been in despite criticism of the fighting style of Stillnocks.
A victory in Chicago is not only crucial for his title line, but also the place of Du Plessis in the history books.

Dricus Du Plessis seems to catch up on Arnold Allen in the longest undefeated UFC debut stripes
A victory over Chimaev at UFC 319 would free up Du Plessis from his Joint-Fifth-set rival in the ranking for the longest winning series at the start of a UFC career.
Since Du Plessis made his debut in the UFC with a knockout victory over Markus Perez, the UFC Middleweight Champion has gone a winning run with nine fights.
He defeated Robert Whittaker before he challenged Sean Strickland for the belt and won it before defending it against Israel Adesanya and Strickland again to cement himself as the top hunter in the division.

The South African is currently fifth in the record books and shares nine consecutive victories with UFC legend and former heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos.
A victory at UFC 319 would bring him level with Arnold Allen, who achieved ten victories at the start of his career.
Both, however, are still behind three former champions in Alexander Volkanovski, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Kamara Usman, who achieved wintreaks of 12, 13 and 15 fights respectively.
Khamzat Chimaev can match Drus Du Plessis with a victory over UFC 319
Despite the impressive start of his career, Du Plessis can be caught by Chimaev on UFC 319, because the Chechen Jager has launched his own impressive winning series.
He is currently on an eight-fog winning series since he made his debut at UFC Fight Island 1, where Chimaev fought during the Pandemie to defeat John Phillips on the Prelims.
Only ten days later, Chimaev Rhys defeated McKee with a knockout in the first round before he set up his most impressive version, and Gerald Meerschaert turned off in just 17 seconds.
Chimaev dominated his next five battles, including chatting with Dana White in the middle of his victory over Li Jingliang, while since his debut he forged an 8-0 record in the promotion.
If he can conquer Du Plessis and UFC Middenweight can become champion at UFC 319, Chimaev will match his own winning series of the South African by ending it in Chicago.
