UFC Middleweight Champion Dric Du Plessis suffered a loss when Alex Pereira dropped the light heavyweight belt to Magomed Ankalaev.
Alex Pereira's history making light heavyweight title line ended abruptly at UFC 313 earlier this month in Las Vegas. He suffered his first light heavyweight loss of his MMA career to magomate Ankalaev in the UFC 313 head event by unanimous decision.
After Dricus Du Plessis Pereira, after his most recent centralweight, called down defense on UFC 312, Pereira and Du Plessis looked at a collision course for a potential Supervecht. But after UFC 313, and for a likely rematch between Pereira and Ankalaev, the callout goal of Du Plessis is not on the shelf.
Du Plessis was not happy with Pereira's performance on UFC 313, for selfish reasons, because he saw the light heavyweight division Thrones change.

Dricus Du Plessis's Alex Pereira Callout Draagen by UFC 313
During a recent vlog with musician Jackson O'Doerty, Du Plessis responded to the loss of Pereira on UFC 313.
“And he wants to go to middleweight?” Said du plessis. “Thank you Ankalaev for taking the largest payment day of my life. Nothing personal …[Pereira’s] aura? Get rid of it. “
After Du Plessis defeated Pereira's two-time UFC rival Israel Adesanya last year, Pereira teased a return to middleweight for a collision with Du Plessis. Pereira started his UFC official period in the middleweight, won the belt about Adesanya and earned a brutal knockout about Sean Strickland.
Du Plessis, unbeaten in his UFC official period, is probably ready for a confrontation with Khamzat Chimaev for his next defending defense. After the loss of Pereira on UFC 313, Du Plessis will draw his attention to the best contenders of the middleweight division, such as Chimaev and Caio Borralho.

To make matters worse for Pereira, the Ankalaev team accused him of using an 'ointment' to make it more difficult to struggle on UFC 313. From this letter Pereir has not tackled the accusations and is aimed at repairing the loss and preparing an Ankalaev runrack.
Various top notnament hunters are accused of lubricating during their career, including UFC Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre. The Ankalaev coach focused on Glover Teixeira and accused Teixeira of having a history of an attempt to achieve an unfair benefit.
While Pereira vs. Ankalaev was a narrow competition, some believe that Pereira noded the jury's score cards. But fighters such as Tom Aspinall believe that Ankalaev has won the fight reasonably convincingly to win the light heavyweight championship.
Despite the temporary losing of the Pereira fight, Du Plessis may still have a superfight if he is able to pass Chimaev. UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad has bullied a switch to middleweight to fight against the winner of Du Plessis vs. Chimaev.
In the meantime, Du Plessis vs. Pereira must wait to flourish and both parties are aimed at other rivals for their next fighting.
